Working of Solar System
Sun Glow solar water heating system working on the Thermosyphon principle. The solar energy incident on the absorber panel coated with selective coating transfer the heat to the riser pipes. The water passes through the riser gets heated up and delivered to the insulated hot water storage tank. There is no requirement of pump or motor to circulate in Thermosyphon system. However in force system the pump is required for circulation of water.


Models of Solar Water Heaters

SG Super
Most suitable for domestic applications, this type of solar water heater operates on the principle that hot water has lower density that cold water and thus has a tendency to rise. Due to this natural phenomenon, the water circulates from the solar collector to the inner container by natural convection.

SG Executive
Ideally suited for hard water areas in this system heat exchanger are installed to protect the system from hard water obtain from borewells. This system is also used in the high altitude areas with antifreeze solutions. Backup electrical booster for continuous hot water in rainy or foggy days.

SG Platinum
In this type of solar water heater, water is pumped from the collector to the inner container. This system has greater control on temperature output and is thus ideal for commercial and industrial establishment where hot water requirements are high.
